Our very own Robert Crites, Photography Department Director is having his own show in the 1622 Gallery. The opening reception is October 4, 4:30-7:30, and his work is a timeline that unfolds both forward and backward of 365 days in the life of a young family.

The free two-year Career Development program offers a select group of highly talented artists exhibitions, mentorship, career counseling, networking opportunities, professional development workshops, opportunities to give back to the community and alumni travel grants and solo exhibitions.

Get ready for the end of the quarter! Summer is almost over and as we go into the home stretch here are few events and contests that should catch your attention.

The biggest and by far most important event on the horizon is the Senior Portfolio Show.

Contests are a great way to have your work seen and reviewed by a wide variety of working professionals.

Popular Photography’s Reader Contest
The 15th Annual Popular Photography Photo Contest gives photographers the opportunity to have their work recognized in the January 2009 issue of Popular Photography, the largest photo magazine in the world, as well as on PopPhoto.com. The winning photographers will also win prizes from Panasonic, Tourism Ireland, Circuit City, SmugMug and fotocommunity.com.
